Mashable: Third Winner
Adam Ostrow about Mashable...
Our “Deck the Trolls” contest is now in full swing, with insults being thrown left and right at us Mashable writers, editors, and “suits.” We’ve had our share of people doing the good ole’ “first” thing (even when they’re not in some cases), plenty of others eating us up over grammatical mishaps, and even a few folks concerned over the well-being of Mashable creator Pete Cashmore (where is that guy anyways?).
But who took the cake this week as top troll? One of the daily polls asked “Which site could you not live without?” While the vast majority answered Google, Bjorn Tipling took this incredible piece of troll bait and responded with:
“How about:
Question: “Which site could I live without?”
Answer: Mashable.”
For that snarky, witty, and downright obnoxious putdown, Bjorn is this week’s Troll Contest winner. Congrats Bjorn, and look out for our email!
Other honorable mention troll activity:
(1) A site called “Listen to Your Wife” was bound to attract some trolls, and Colin came through with this:
“if ever there was a site I could “UN-bookmark”, this would be it!
I listen to my wife every day of the year, so when I get a little “me time”, the LAST place I’m going to is a site where I can continue to “Listen To Your Wife”!
Enjoy your site “ladies” and feel free to bitch as much as you like there - if it saves some poor smuck having to get an earful when he gets home, then this site will have provided a genuine service.”
