Mashable: BusinessWeek’s Sarah Lacy Writes Web 2.0 Expose

Paul Glazowski about Mashable...

Sarah Lacy, a BusinessWeek columnist and reporter who spends her time trawling the world of Web 2.0 for interesting stories about the “new generation” of companies and the people who run them, has put her best finds from Silicon Valley (and beyond) into a single, 300-page volume, slated for release in the next few months. If you’re eager, you can head on over to Amazon.com now and place a pre-order on Lacy’s book for delivery in mid-May.

The book, titled Once You’re Lucky, Twice You’re Good: The Rebirth of Silicon Valley and the Rise of Web 2.0, documents Lacy’s chronicles in and around Silicon Valley, her conversations with founders all across the startup space, and if the veteran business writer’s resume is anything to go by, a good deal of fine-tuned wit, to boot.

The volume, to be published by Gotham, an imprint of Penguin Group, is slated for release on May 15, 2008. As was mentioned above, pre-orders are available at Amazon.com now. Early buyers get an additional 5% off the purchase price.

If you enjoy Lacy’s biweekly Valley Girl column, you’re bound to find her hardbound Web 2.0 expose just as engaging. Pick it up! We recommend!
